Yesterday we watched a little short video called “Mr frosty man and the bmx boy”. We watched this video to learn about Dialogue. The short clip was about an old man who was trying to find his Eden and a place to relax when he met a young boy who was curious, annoying and didn’t believe he was God. The boy encouraged Mr Frosty to do bombs.
This week in English we have been learning about Film techniques such as camera shots and dialogue. Some camera shots I am confident identifying are Long shot, Medium shot, Close-up and Extremely close-up.
Long- shot is a Photo taken of a human’s full body or something that is far away from the camera. Medium shot is A camera shot that frames the subjects from the top of the head down to the waist or knees. Close-up is A frame where you could mostly see the face in the frame of the camera. Extremely close-up is when the camera is fully focused on the object such as a eye. Did you know the eye/mouth is one of the most common object’s people use to explain how Extremely close-up works.
I am finally confident with “Dialogue”
